يجب على مجتمعنا الدولي أيضا أن يتحمل مسؤوليته نحو من دُمرت حياتهم، وأقصد بهم ملايين اللاجئين والضحايا والمحرومين. لن نستطيع تحقيق النصر ضد آفة الإرهاب والعنف دون أن نستأصل جذريا المظالم التي تشكل تربة خصبة للإرهاب. فمن سجن أبو غريب إلى شوارع كابول ومدارس حلب، نجد أن الظلم والمهانة قد تركا خلفهما معاناة إنسانية كبيرة.
